Michael M. Shea, Jr. focuses exclusively on catastrophic injury litigation. Within this practice, his cases are limited to those which involve the most devastating injuries—including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, quadriplegia, paraplegia, burns, electrocution, and death. The general circumstances of the traumatic event can include motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, injury from unsafe or defective products, toxic exposure, amusement park accidents, motorcycle accidents, roadway design cases, to identify a few.

Mr. Shea practices primarily within the state of California; however, he has also represented injured clients in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii. In 1995, he successfully represented an injured person in Cuenca, Spain. This person was the wife of a United States Air Force Colonel injured in a head-on collision on the Madrid-Valencia highway. Currently, he is representing a U.S. Serviceman injured in Germany. Over the years, he has been an invited speaker on brain injury cases to many different organizations, including the Brain Injury Association of Washington, D.C., Brain Injury Association of California, and Utah State Bar Association.
