The San Jose Mercury news reported recently that PG&E employees raised concerns about safety to PG&E, but that those concerns were ignored. Furthermore, the workers who raised safety concerns were sometimes punished for speaking up.

According to PG&E’s website, PG&E has 5.1 million electric customer accounts and 4.3 million natural gas accounts and provides service to over 15 million consumers.

Electricity and gas are dangerous instrumentalities that only PG&E has the power to control. Safety must be a priority. If PG&E is negligent, people could become electrocuted, burned, or killed.
